Good Evening Members:
I know the past few days and weeks have been uncertain and potentially frightening for us. I can assure you that Belmont Hills Country Club's number one priority is our member's health, satisfaction, and safety. To highlight some of our actions in the past week:
We began cleaning golf carts with bleach to sanitize,
We then closed the restaurant and bar per orders from the state government,
We then recommended all golfers take separate carts and putt with the flag stick in.
I can assure you that these actions have made a difference and kept our club safe and clean during the past week for our members while they were at our club. Unfortunately, COVID-19 continues to spread and present a true health crisis. The State government, yesterday, announced that Ohio is issuing a stay at home order and ordering all non-essential businesses to close.
BHCC remains committed to our members health and safety and would love to still operate for the satisfaction of our members. We will be open on Wednesday for takeout orders from the Take Out Menu that was published previously. We will operate on the hours that were published as well for takeout orders. Please support your club during this time! As for golf, we are still closed but we are still looking into if we are able to provide carts or allow members to walk our course. We are in contact with the Southern Ohio PGA and Ohio Golf Association as points of contacts. We will provide information when we receive it. If we are able to proceed with golf, no one will be allowed inside the building including pro shop and locker room. We will provide carts outside and an employee will get your bag out of storage. If walking is only allowed, we will keep the building closed and members can come walk as they please. Again, we hope everyone stays healthy and safe during this health crisis and we continue to encourage you to practice social distancing and adhere to the Administration's guidelines presented at www.coronavirus.gov.
