Belmont Hills Country Club keeps golfers challenged with an array of tournaments throughout the year. Member-member events and more offer great golf, entertainment and a healthy dose of competition.

As the 2009 Golf Season winds down, I would like to thank the Members for their support and the participation in our Tournaments for the 2009 season. Participation was pretty good considering the circumstances of the economy. As for our Main Event: The Annual Member Guest Invitational, we had two more teams participate than last year. This may not sound like a lot, but any increase is wonderful.

Our 2009 Money List Event finished up on Sunday September 27th with the End of Year Scramble concluding. Holding on and capturing the title for 2009 is Joe Wetzel. Joe defeated Jerry Podgorski for the victory. Joe received $150.00 cash for his achievement. Congratulations Joe on a great season! Our end of the year cash raffle winner was drawn and taking home the $150.00 cash prize was Ernie Wilson. Congratulations Ernie!

The 2009 Golf Outing Schedule was a huge success for Belmont Hills Country Club. Our Golf Outings generated approximately $54,000 dollars on green fees and cart fees. This total is approximately 2 ½ times more than what we generated on regular member play. As a dues paying member, we realize these outings can be an inconvenience, but the money being generated during these difficult times is greatly needed for the Clubs survival. I want to thank the members for their support on this sore subject and encourage you to continue your support as we look forward to our 2010 Golf Season.
